페르세우스 자리

 

 

 

페르세우스 별자리에서는 페르세우스 성단과 막대한 X선 및 라디오파를 분출하고 있는 은하 NGC 1275를 관측할 수 있다.

 

페르세우스 은하단에서 NGC 1275는 가장 밝은 은하이기는 하지만 이 은하를 관측하려면 전문적인 장비가 필요하다.

 

그러나 사진 좌측 하단에 있는 황소자리의 산개성단인 플레이아데스 성단은 맑은 밤하늘에서 육안으로도 관측 가능하다.

The Perseus Cluster and erupting galaxy NGC 1275 are found within the constellation Perseus, the Hero. Although NGC 1275 is the brightest galaxy in the Perseus Galaxy Cluster, professional equipment is required to see it in any detail. However, even naked eye observers can see the Pleiades open star cluster in neighbouring Taurus (in the bottom left of the image) on a clear night.
