M82

 

 

이 사진은 허블우주망원경과 찬드라 X선 망원경, 스피처 우주망원경이 각각 촬영한
활동은하 메시에 82의 사진을 조합한 것이다.

 

X선 데이터는 푸른색으로, 스피처가 촬영한 적외선 이미지는 붉은 색으로 표현되어 있다.

허블 우주망원경이 촬영한 수소 복사선은 오랜지 색으로 나타나 있는며,

허블의 관측에서 짙은 푸른색으로 나타난 부분은 녹황색으로 처리되었다.
